In original game, you'll get different story based on your action regarding the phone trigger.
Since in Elite you cannot access the phone freely, they change the mechanic to get the alternate scenes.
The way you'll get the alternates scenes based on how MANY REPLY you send to Mayuri.
Why you want to see the alternate scenes? Off course to get the Cruel Sister achievement (through Faris Cup) and the legendary tips 38 (replaying the day when Moeka raid the lab).

Chapter 2

• Talking to Kurisu
  • Reply 1 or less: Rintaro ignore mail from Moeka and Kurisu praise him having good manner
  • Reply 2 or more: Rintaro replying mail from Moeka and Kurisu mad at him having bad manner
• Mayuri phone call
  • Reply none: Rintaro got out and meet Moeka and mail Mayuri about earlier call
  • Reply 1: Rintaro got out and meet Moeka and call Mayuri back about earlier call
  • Reply 2 or more: Rintaro picking up the call immediately and proceed to Faris Cup scene

Chapter 3

• Moeka coming to lab
  • Reply 1 or less: Rintaro read Moeka 'mail talk' through conversation
  • Reply 2 or more: Rintaro ignore Moeka 'mail talk ' through conversation
• Call from Daru
  • Reply 1 or less: Rintaro ignore Daru call
  • Reply 2 or more: Rintaro answer Daru call

Chapter 6

• Leaping for the first time
  • Reply less than 9: Rintaro realize he leap and start searching Mayuri
  • Reply 9 or more: Rintaro deny the possibilty of leaping and replaying the day of raid
• Call lab member about their work
  • Reply less than 6: Rintaro didn't check anyone
  • Reply 6-8 & not on Kurisu route: Rintaro call Daru to check his work progress
