Zero Escape (Series)

Zero Escape is a trilogy of video games developed and published by Spike Chunsoft in Japan and Aksys Games in North America & Europe. In Japan known as 極きょく限げん脱だっ出しゅつ [Kyokugen Dasshutsu], (lit.) Extreme Escape. The series is directed and written by Kotaro Uchikoshi. Each game in the series follows groups of nine individuals, who are kidnapped and locked up by a mysterious person who goes by the name "Zero". Everyone are forced to play a game of life and death in order to escape, while trying to figure out who Zero is and the truth behind the game.

Known in Japan as 極きょく限げん脱だっ出しゅつＡＤＶ 善ぜん人にんシボウデス [Kyokugen Dasshutsu ADV: Zennin SHIBOU DESU]. The Japanese title has two meanings: "Extreme Escape ADV: Good People Die" or "Extreme Escape ADV: Want to be a Good Person".
